Answers to Your Questions About Signs
If you are like most people, you have questions about your sign project. From site visits to installation, there are a lot of variables to consider. Don’t hesitate to ask – if we don’t have the answer, we’ll find it for you as quickly as possible.

If you are adding an exterior building sign or a ground sign, chances are you need a sign permit. We have knowledgeable staff who can answer your questions and provide resources on the permit process. We offer permitting services and can help make the sign permit process an easy one for our customers.
We are a full service sign company, and so we do work with raster images. Low resolution raster images, such as .jpg files, .gif files, .png files, etc., may not be of sufficient quality to avoid pixilation issues and additional costs for design work. High resolution images or Vector images are always preferred, in .eps or .pdf format.
• For color artwork and/or images, please provide in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) mode.
• For black and white artwork and/or images, please provide in grayscale color mode.
• Fonts must be outlined or converted to paths or curves.
Turnaround times for sign projects vary by the type of sign. For signs that require a sign permit, expect 1-2 weeks, depending on the municipality with jurisdiction over the location where the sign is being installed. Once the sign permit has been approved, a custom fabricated sign can take up to 4 weeks or more. For most printed materials, the turnaround time will generally be 3-5 working days. Electric or illuminated signs will typically carry a warranty on their power supply, so you may be covered – obviously depending on the type of sign and how long ago it was purchased and installed. If your sign is out of warranty, or if you didn’t purchase your sign, give us a call and we’ll schedule one of our professional installers to diagnose and fix the issue.
